Edward Dimendberg is a consultant, editor, scholar, and teacher who utilizes an unusual set of skills and a unique background in scholarly publishing and higher education to help authors, academic administrators, and graduate students in his consulting practice, editorial work, seminars, and workshops. He received his B.A. from Brown University, his M.A. from New York University, and his Ph.D. in the History of Consciousness from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Dimendbeg is Professor of Film and Media Studies, Visual Studies, and German at the University of California, Irvine and publishes on the relation of the mass media to the built environment in numbers journals, collections, and exhibition catalogues.
