Donna Robertson, the John and Jeanne Rowe Chair in Architecture and former Dean of the College of Architecture, was among five honored with 2016 Women in Architecture Awards by Architectural Record.
The Women in Architecture Awards recognize five American architects who are design leaders and have contributed to women’s increasingly visible role in the profession.
The winners will were honored at a symposium and reception at CUNY Graduate Center in New York on November 2. The theme of this year’s symposium will be women and architectural education.
In honoring Donna Robertson, AR noted:
"A long time educator, architect Donna Robertson has served as dean at both the Tulane School of Architecture and the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She has held numerous positions of leadership in the field of architecture education over the past three decades, and is committed to the political and social benefits of design excellence."
