IIT Architecture Grad featured in The New York Times

Carlos Roa, who graduated from IIT Architecture with a B. ARCH in 2016, is featured in The New York Times article, "Immigrants Who Came to U.S. as Children Fear Deportation Under Trump."

Roa was brought to the United States as a toddler, and was among the first young undocumented immigrants to be protected from deportation under a program passed by President Obama.

Roa is now 29, and graduated from IIT Architecture after supporting his own college career. He continues his training as an architect in Chicago, where he is currently drafting blueprints for a local firm.
