The Mies van der Rohe Celebration with Second City on Thursday, Mar. 31 @ 6 p.m. in S. R. Crown Hall.

This much-anticipated annual bash celebrating Mies van der Rohe's 130th birthday will feature an evening of architecturally inspired sketch and improvisational comedy presented by Chicago’s preeminent designers of satire, The Second City.

The event began with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by a one-hour performance at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016. It will take place in Mies’ 1956-designed masterpiece, S. R. Crown Hall.

Tickets are $50 per person, or $125 per person which includes a ticket plus one year of membership to the Mies van der Rohe Society at the Concrete ($100) level.

The Second City is Chicago’s legendary sketch and improv comedy theater.
