CoA Professor Peter Land's work was featured in symposium "From PREVI to the Present" on April 25, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Roy and Niuta Titus Theater 1 in MoMA, New York.

IIT partnered with the Architectural League of New York, Museum of Modern Art, and the Latin Lab at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation for the day-long symposium, in connection with the MoMa exhibition "Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955-1980".

The symposium looked at Proyecto Experimental de Vivienda (PREVI)—that includes the work of Peter Land – and at the topic of incrementalism and how it is being reconceived and used in practice today.

A forthcoming bilingual book by Peter Land about the international UN Experimental Housing Project, Lima (PREVI) with architects from 14 countries, will be out in the fall 2015.

IIT Alumni attended the symposium free of charge as guests of MoMA and the Architectural League of New York. For RSVP, please email rsvp@archleague.org
