COA/IIT SPRING 2021 CAREER FAIR

On February 25 representatives from some of Chicago’s top architecture, engineering, and design firms—including Solomon Cordwell Buenz, and Perkins Eastman—will join Illinois Institute of Technology for the Spring 2021 Career Fair. The firms will be available to meet from 10 a.m.–4 p.m CST. There will also be the opportunity for students to take part in workshops to build resume writing, interviewing, and personal branding skills.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

This is the second semester we are hosting the all-campus career fair as a virtual event, and there are a few important details to be aware of:

1. The event is happening through a platform called InternX which requires you to create a profile and upload your resume to the system.
2. The event is in a mini interview format, which allows employers to invite students to speak with them, and vice versa.
3. Companies will be able to start inviting students to mini interview sessions starting two weeks before the fair, so it is in your best interest to create your profile in InternX by Monday, February 15. Many companies will not take advantage of this feature, so do not worry if you are not pre-selected.
4. Students can begin choosing who they want to talk to a week later on Monday, February 22. If you aren't chosen by a company to speak to them by this time, you will still have a chance to sign up for a mini interview slot on a first-come, first-serve basis.
