Students Exhibit Furniture Design

“Furniture to Palette" by Arch 447 student Brittany Mead

Arch 447 Architecture & Furniture class instructor Paul Pettigrew and his students teamed up with local artists, craftsman, and companies to present their interpretations of what it means to "Work Local: When Art Meets Industry." 

Work Local: When Art Meets Industry explores the meaning and relevance of locally inspired and locally produced design.

The exhibition will be held at Lubeznik Center for the Arts from February 7th to April 18th, 2015, following an opening reception on Friday, February 6th at 5 p.m. The center is located at 101 W. Second Street, Michigan City, Indiana.

IIT Architecture Studio Associate Professor Paul Pettigrew is the co-curator of this exhibition along with Carol Ann Brown, Exhibitions Curator at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts.
