"Urban Waters" Cooperation Exhibition Opening

On Friday October 5, IIT Architecture invites the public to S. R. Crown Hall for the opening of the "Urban Waters" exhibition by HCU Hamburg. Teachers and students from Hamburg will present their urban and architecture design projects, located along the South Branch of the Chicago River.

The exhibition is part of "Urban Waters," a transatlantic cooperation project between the HCU Hamburg and the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago). The cooperation was launched in June 2018, and is a unique opportunity for students and faculty from both institutions to study and work in each other's respective cities and communities.

"Urban Waters" cooperation presented its initial teaching and research results in an exhibition at the HCU Hamburg. This inaugural exhibition was officially underwritten and opened by US Consul General Richard Yoneoka, Susanne Metz (Department of Urban Development and Housing) and Dr. Walter Pelka (President of the HCU Hamburg).
