Christophe Hutin on Housing in South Africa

Christophe Hutin's work spans the intersection of small-scale private residences, to government and cultural buildings and the rethinking of lodging in the urban context; most notable is his firm's re-imagining of 50,000 housing units into a more sustainable Bordeaux. Prior to his training, Christophe spent time in Soweto, South Africa. In 2008, Christophe returned to Johannesburg to establish the first European Union National Institute of Culture (EUNIC) Studio addressing improvements to the typology of public housing blocks. http://www.christophehutin.com/
