On Tue., Nov. 17 the College of Architecture and the IIT community joined together to help make an impact at the College of Architecture. Our alumni and supporters met the Galvin Challenge and, as a result, Perkins + Will donated an $10,000 to the College of Architecture Scholarship Fun. Congratulations to everyone who donated and a special thanks to CoA Board of Overseers member Ralph Johnson from Perkins + Will.
IIT had been issued a challenge by Trustee Mike Galvin, when we received 300 donations on IIT Giving Day he provided $50,000 for IIT. Thanks to the architecture firm, Perkins + Will when we met the Galvin Challenge an extra $10,000 was added to the College of Architecture Scholarship fund.
Due to a generous gift from the estate of alumna Julia Anderson (BIO ‘75), for every College of Architecture alumni donor on IIT Giving Day, an additional $250 was added to the College of Architecture Scholarship fund.
