CoA professor John DeSalvo led the book signing of the 3rd edition to the "Pocket Guide to Chicago Architecture" on April 11 at the Robin House.

The popular Pocket Guide to Chicago Architecture is published by W. W. Norton & Company, written by architectural historian Judith McBiren and illustrated by Professor DeSalvo. It is a perfect handbook for self-guided walking tours, as well as an excellent source of information for those wishing to explore the internationally acclaimed architecture of Chicago. The 3rd edition of the book updated to reflect Chicago's changing urban landscape and to incorporate a section on the city's rich campus architecture.

The book signing was sponsored by The Seminary Co-op Bookstores and the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, and was led by DeSalvo. Original drawings by DeSalvo were on display at the event.

DeSalvo has also illustrated Pocket Guide to Miami Architecture and Pocket Guide to Los Angeles Architecture written by McBiren.
