IIT ARCHITECTURE STUDENT ELECTED AIAS VP & ACSA DIRECTOR

IIT Architecture is proud to announce that M.ARCH student Adam Fogel was recently elected as the incoming American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) Vice President and 2019 Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) incoming Student Director.

During the annual AIAS FORUM conference, which took place in Seattle from Dec. 29, 2018 – Jan., 1, 2019, the Council of Presidents elected a new incoming board of directors. The newly elected members will serve a one-year term on the AIAS Board of Directors, with the President and Vice President relocating to the national office in Washington, D.C. to work as full-time employees of the organization.

IIT Architecture student Adam Fogel (MARCH '19) has been a member of AIAS since his freshman year of the B.ARCH program at University of Texas at Arlington. Adam will continue to develop his relationship with AIAS as incoming Vice President, and in this new role he hopes to utilize his knowledge of design and communication to serve his fellow architecture students.
