Recent WORKac

Amale Andraos and Dan Wood, co-founders of New York-based WORKac, will speak about their projects from around the world during a lecture on April 9 beginning at 5 p.m. in S. R. Crown Hall’s Upper Center Core.

The lecture, titled “Recent WORKac,” will showcase how the firm went from its founding in 2003 to being named Architect Magazine’s top design firm in the country in 2023. WORKac focuses on public, cultural, and civic projects.

In addition to WORKac, Andraos and Wood also work in academia: Andraos is a professor and the former dean of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she recently served as adviser to the Climate School. Wood is currently an adjunct associate professor at Columbia.
