On October 5, 2017 Dean Michelangelo Sabatino spoke about the Canadian design attitude during the twentieth century: a liberal, hybrid, pragmatic mindset intent less on the dogma of architectural language than on the formation of inclusive spaces and places. This lecture surveyed the unfolding of architectural modernity in a country once defined by Voltaire as “a few acres of snow.”
This event was presented in partnership with the Department of Art and Canadian Studies Program at the University of Toronto.
