Exhibition, Lecture and Panel Conversation opened at S. R. Crown Hall on January 18, 2019.
Exhibiting Architecture is a sneak peek preview of IIT’s End of Year exhibit, which publicly highlights exceptional student work at the end of each academic year. Exhibiting Architecture is also an opportunity to discuss the progress of newly implemented design projects and interdisciplinary activities in the graduate (M.Arch) architecture program.
The event kicked-off with a lecture by Ann Lui about her recent exhibition at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale titled “Dimensions of Citizenship,” which will open for its second presentation at Chicago’s Wrightwood 659 in February 2019. Post lecture, Ann Lui was joined by a panel of designers and curators to explore concepts and strategies for exhibiting architecture.
