John DeSalvo will appear in conversation with Judith Paine to discuss "The Illustration of Architecture" from The Guide Book Series. 

John DeSalvo is founding principle at John DeSalvo Design, free hand illustrator for Norton Press Publications architectural pocket guide book series, and a full time associate professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he serves as one of the directors of the advanced graduate studios, as well as the director of graduate admissions for the College of Architecture. 

Judith Paine is an architectural historian and author of the best-selling "Pocket Guide to Chicago Architecture" as well as other titles from Norton Press Publications. She directs the Archimedia Workshop, which produces films and media about architecture, development, and urban design. She was the recipient of the Society of Architectural Historians 2013 Award for Excellence in Architectural Media.
