Jong Soung Kimm (B.ARCH. ’61, M.ARCH. ’64), a member of the Mies van der Rohe Society, captures a slice of European history in Norman and Gothic Architecture of the United Kingdom, Kimm’s latest photo essay which will be presented at 2:30 p.m. on November 2 in S. R. Crown Hall Lower Center Core.
The towering cathedrals of Canterbury, Salisbury, and more fill the volume’s pages, highlighting the art and architecture crafted hundreds of years ago.
Kimm’s fifth and final volume joins his earlier photographic work showcasing his travels across Europe. King’s College Chapel at Cambridge University graces the last chapter as an end note to Kimm’s decade-long journey.
