IIT College of Architecture will welcome Chris T. Cornelius, founding principal of studio:indigenous and chair of the Department of Architecture at the University of New Mexico, as part of the fall lecture series at S. R. Crown Hall.
Cornelius, a citizen of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, founded the practice to serve Indigenous clients. Conrelius’s projects include the Indian Community School of Milwaukee and Trickster, an award-winning temporary art piece in a Wisconsin children’s literature garden.
Cornelius will speak on Wednesday, October 26, at 5 p.m.
