Join Pat Bosch, design director and principal at Perkins&Will, and Joan Soranno, design principal at HGA and fellow of the American Institute of Architects, in discussing women in the field of architecture.
Bosch was a founding partner of the Miami branch of Perkins&Will in 1996 and has led dozens of projects worldwide, from a hospital in Ghana to a research center in Brazil. She places an emphasis on humanistic and environmentally responsible approach to design. Her numerous awards include awards of excellence and design awards from Florida organizations and national organizations.
Soranno specializes in cultural and religious architecture. Many of her projects, including from cemetery garden spaces to a museum campus, are in the Minneapolis area, where Soranno calls home. Her projects have garnered national acclaim.
The two will speak Wednesday, November 2, at 5 p.m. at S. R. Crown Hall.
