Ron Henderson is a Professor at IIT, Founding Principal and Director of Design at L+A Landscape Architecture, and a Dumbarton Oaks Garden and Landscape Studies Senior Fellow.
"Seeing Cherries" is an exhibition of rare books and other historical materials (including one of Henderson’s orihon notebooks), held in conjunction with "Sakura Orihon" at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the U.S. National Arboretum. The works on view examine the cross cultural symbolism of the Japanese Cherry Blossom as a fixture in the landscape of Washington, DC.
