Expertise
Meg Studer teaches history and theory in the MLA program at IIT and is a designer at Siteations Studio. Her work investigates the material, procedural, and institutional construction of environmental and territorial 'information;' she makes print and interactive infographics exploring urban metabolisms and administrative mechanisms (across modernity). Meg also develops tools and plug-ins to facilitate the integration of (big) public data with systems analysis and 4D digital modeling. Prior to teaching at IIT, she was a lecturer in landscape at City College of New York and University of Pennsylvania as well as an associate at Stoss Landscape Urbanism.
