Expertise
Scott specializes in context-sensitive landscape architecture, including historic preservation and contemporary design. He typically works as a design team member with architects, engineers and project specialists. His current practice includes public, institutional, commercial and residential planning and design - as well as land inventories, inspections, analyses and feasibility studies. Scott has completed landscapes for many historically-significant properties in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and has completed cultural landscape reports and historic landscape maintenance manuals. With 30 years of professional experience, Scott writes, teaches and presents on a variety of landscape topics for both general and professional audiences.
